About IARRT

IARRT International Association for Regression Research & Therapies Inc. (founded as APRT - Association for Past Life Research and Therapies) - is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the acceptance and use of professional and responsible past-life regression through education, association and research. We are an international organization of professional, student, and supporting members across the United States, Canada and other countries world wide.

Past Life Regession Therapy is considered one of the most powerful tools available for transformation in the fields of integrative medicine, psychology and self awareness.

The effectiveness of past life recall created a demand for therapists skilled in regression techniques. In 1980, a group of more than 50 past life therapists convened to create the Association for Past Life Research and Therapies (later renamed the International Association for Regression Research and Therapies, Inc.). The association has become an internationally recognized organization with members holding conferences throughout the world.

Purposes

The progressive application of Past-Life Therapy.
Promotion of research in this field.
Establishment of clinical standards for training Past-Life Therapists.
Provision of a communication network for the exchange of information and experience.

Objectives

To direct effective treatment so individuals become aware of their capacity to change and improve conditions in their lives; physical
or psychological.
To enhance and broaden effectiveness of those already engaged in Past-Life work through means of seminars, workshops and conferences.
To maintain a system of registration for those members meeting established qualifications.
To promote a program of education which integrates the dynamics of Past-Life Therapy.
To inform the public of the dynamics and parameters
of Past-Life Therapy.

Conferences and Training

Recognizing the need for valid information, dissemination of qualified techniques, and networking among practicing professionals, IARRT provides international conferences, seminars and workshops. Training includes the basics of hypnosis and four levels of expertise in past life regression certified through IBRT (International Board for Regression Therapy - an independent organization founded to set standards of training expertise and reinforce them through documented certification). In addition, full-day institutes are presented by well-known leaders on various topics. Conferences bring together peer practitioners for workshops and networking in addition to the training and institutes.

Publications

The refereed Journal of Regression Therapy presents professional research, findings and case histories, as well as providing members with the opportunity to publish qualified papers in these areas. The Journal disseminates information regarding the regressive therapeutic process to professionals in related fields.

The quarterly newsletter provides articles, information and research in the area of past-life regression and related fields. Information on upcoming conferences and seminars, membership update, book, tape and video reviews, calendar of events, "Viewpoints" of regression methods, and letters to the editor are featured in each Newsletter.

A booklet Directory of Members, listing members alphabetically by name and numerically by zip code, is available on request to members only for the cost of mailing. Non-members may obtain a list of practitioners in their immediate vicinity for a small donation to cover copying and mailing.

Store

Audiotapes of all conference lectures, workshops, and pre/post conference institutes by top people in the field are available, as are selected videotapes of conference presentations. The IARRT Store has a selection of special books, including some which are self-published and difficult to find in most bookstores. Many of our members are authors as well as practitioners and educators.
